Fundraisers

RHS Music Families,

As you know, the RHS Music Foundation normally plans a series of fundraisers to support the RHS Music Department and provide students the opportunity to raise funds for Spring Trips.  Since this year is unusual, the Music Department’s needs are different from a typical year.  In turn, this means the Music Foundation fundraising efforts will be different.  We plan to limit our fundraising to the most popular (and contactless) events.   As always, all of these events are voluntary.  We ask that families participate in ways that work for them.

Our Meals for Music program had a great start on October 20 at Ledo’s in Fulton.  Thank you for supporting this event and the Music Department.  Stay tuned for more information on our next Meals for Music event coming soon.

We are currently working on providing students and families the opportunity to purchase RHS Music Spirit Wear and offering our popular yearly fruit sale.

Our primary fundraising effort will be through our Grow Gator Music program.  Please see the Grow Gator Music page for a special note from the program chair.

Music programs are not unlike sports programs in that parental support, both physically and financially are critical to the success of the program.  The music program at Reservoir HS is academically one of the top High School programs in the county and it is because of you, the parents, we are able to offer this high level of support for our students to continue to excel and achieve.  The key ingredients are in place; a phenomenal teaching staff, a dedicated and skilled support staff, and a committed parent network. We continue to ask for your help as you have throughout your child’s school years. The support required may be different than in the elementary days, but it is equally important and maybe even more critical as we strive to help students become career and college ready.  Please consider volunteering your support to this worthwhile cause.

The RHS Music Foundation fundraising efforts will assist the students and music directors in various ways; such as buying and maintaining instruments, buying music, hosting master classes, providing student music scholarships, maintaining equipment and uniforms and assisting with transportation.
