Dear Reservoir Music Department Families:

We hope that this email finds you and your families well as we continue our journey in the COVID-19 realities.

We are writing to request your tax deductible donations toward the RHS Grow Gator Music (GGM) fundraising effort via the following: https://www.rhsmusicfoundation.com/fundraisers/grow-gator-music

This year, we are suggesting $100 minimum donation, but please know all donations are absolutely welcomed and appreciated. In the past, this fundraiser has only had the support of a handful of donors, yet it is always our biggest fundraiser. Last year, we had 22 donor families from over 320 students we support with these funds. With our significantly limited ability to fundraise this year, we are hoping all capable families will donate to the GGM Fundraiser.

For some of us, these times are much too challenging to provide donations. For those able to, the RHS Music Foundation is asking current music families to follow past music families who already paved the way for the success of our current students. We are asking you to help support the RHS Music Department’s nominal yearly needs of providing music, scholarships, uniforms, master classes, and other needs. The RHS Music Foundation is particularly concerned about the overall school system’s budgetary strains on the music programs and about sustaining our budget to support future uniform and instrument replacements.

For students who are seniors this year, the replacement funds will not significantly benefit them. I am a parent of a senior, and this is my 8^th and final year supporting the RHS Music Department. For me, giving is the only way I can thank the amazing directors and students for the joy and music they have bestowed upon me and my family. Our donations will help ensure the viability of this amazing department.

Grow Gator Music is a simple way to provide your ONCE A YEAR tax-deductible donation in support of the music activities at RHS. Your donation will assist the students and music directors in various ways; such as buying and maintaining instruments, buying music, hosting master classes, providing student music scholarships, maintaining equipment and uniforms and assisting with transportation.

Please think of how much the RHS music program means to your student, how important the arts are in our world and the difference you can make with your donation.

We hope that this simplified approach to supporting the music department makes it easier on you, the supporters, while providing the best environment to GROW GATOR MUSIC!
